In their first year, Global Jazz Workshop welcomed over 100 enrolled students — breaking international barriers with nine countries represented in one room.

A stacked all-star faculty led by Chad LB, the Global Jazz Workshop boasts a full week of clinics, masterclasses, ensemble sessions and performances — located at the Hyatt Regency in the center of the Live Music Capitol of the World: Austin, Texas!

Our diverse curriculum is wide-ranging from improvisation, theory and musicianship to the essential knowledge needed to navigate the music business.

Our program serves musicians of all ages, instruments and skill levels. Musicians are grouped into ensembles according to their skill level and programming caters to musicians ranging from developing improvisers to professional musicians looking to hone their craft.
